For Every Migrant or Graduate Structural Engineer Who Feels Invisible, You’re Why I’m Here
There was a point where my days were so full, I barely had time to breathe.
Six hours of sleep, and the rest was booked out.
I didn’t even have time to take care of my hair, so I shaved it all off.

It wasn’t just about saving time. It was symbolic.
A fresh start.
A reminder to myself that I could push past my limits.
That I could shift gears and go all in.
I knew it wouldn’t last forever, but the reward at the end would be worth it.
And it was.
Every time I joined a live session with my trainees at LearnPedia Australia and saw them grow, saw their confidence build, their skills sharpen, and their careers take shape, I felt refueled.
Their progress was my energy.
Watching them succeed in the field, watching them finally get seen and valued for what they can do, has always reminded me why I started.
Because deep down, this work has never JUST been about engineering.
It’s been about people.
About creating real change in their lives, and in our country, Australia. 🩵
Sometimes I look at an old photo of myself from those days and see a young woman who was tired, maybe, but never gave up.
A young woman who proved to herself, again, that when you truly set your mind to something, nothing can stop you.
I’ve made it my mission to help graduate and migrant engineers reach the place they truly deserve, where their hard work turns into meaningful careers, and their skills help shape our communities and strengthen the future of our country.🌿
That’s what fuels me. Every single step of the way...
